Joining in the Random Mix Madness

Über Pop Maven Sean asked me yesterday if, now that I have my 80gb iPod, I wanted to do a Random Mix with him. Since our tastes in music only rarely meet for coffee in the downtown deli, I agreed. The great thing about when Sean posts his random mix is he actually posts the mix as well. So if you're curious as to what someone who actually keeps up with current music listens to, his entry is right here.

Anyway, here's mine.

There you go. I think that's about a CD's worth of music. I don't think it's the most cohesive mix in the world, but I was surprised what a nice transition it was going from Joni Mitchell to Tool.

And I make no apologies for the 10 minute live Dio track. Dio rules, my friends. Just ask Jack Black.
